As I look inside,
What do I see?
A tangled mass of emotions,
Staring back at me.

What do I feel?
It’s hard these days to tell,
The inner struggle says to me,
All is not well.

A battle fought,
So deep and strong,
Yet nothing is resolved,
Just goes on and on.

A war of equal parties,
Tearing left and right,
Sometimes from the darkness,
Sometimes from the light.
