Does it matter any more,
That life just closes evey door,
Every hope is dashed on rocks,
And all i hear is snapping locks.

Hampered by life’s strangling chain,
Handcuffed by another’s pain,
Strangled by dependent ropes,
Sliding down those slippery slopes.

Never seeing any light,
Blinded by a cloudy blight,
Hoping for a break to see,
What life holds in store for me.
