I have been blogging on and off for about 8 years now. I started blogging seriously when I needed an outlet to express how Dementia effected me as a carer of parent who was diagnosed with the disease. This journey can be seen on my other blog at “Perspectives 1 – A Journey with Dementia…… Revisted”.
Blogging can be hard for me. Creating content that I think will be of interest or read does not come easy when I have no muse directing my need to write, but I try and usual improve with time. This blog will be thoughts as and when they come to me and of no specific theme.
So a bit about me. I am at this time 50 years of age from a working class background. The youngest of five siblings (two sisters and two brothers). I am a Civil Servant of some 20+ years and a currently a carer for an elderly parent. When I get the chance I like to go running and cycling, although this is not often these days. I like to listen to music to relax.
